- Paris 64 spots
Where the parks come from
The map uses OpenStreetMap data, drawn by volunteers. A spot shows up when it has a pull-up bar, dip bars, rings, monkey bars or wall bars. Fitness trails with only cardio machines are left out.
Pieces of equipment within about 50 metres of each other count as one spot, so a park with five separate bars appears once.
Paris also includes the city's own list of street workout areas, from Paris Open Data (Ville de Paris, ODbL). The city does not say what equipment each area has, so those spots show no equipment list.
A few more Paris spots come from city and local guides. Their pins sit at the centre of the park, so look around once you get there.
Questions
How do I find a calisthenics park near me?
Press Use my location and allow location access. The map moves to where you are and lists the closest parks with pull-up or dip bars, with the distance to each one.
What counts as a calisthenics park here?
Any outdoor spot with at least one pull-up bar, set of dip bars, rings, monkey bars or wall bars. Some are full street workout parks, others are a single bar in a public garden.
A park is missing or wrong. How do I fix it?
Open the spot on OpenStreetMap from its popup and edit it there, or add a missing park with the leisure=fitness_station tag. Changes reach this map the next time we refresh the city.
